Obituary for Douglas Roy Perkins

Douglas R. Perkins, age 70, of Foley Bend Road, Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at his home. He was born on November 27, 1948 in Evarts, Kentucky to the late Claude Elmo and Pauline (Grogan) Perkins. He was also preceded in death by his wife Roxie Vickie (Vanderpool) Perkins; granddaughter, Natoshia Nallia; and three brothers, Johnny Lynn Perkins, Thomas David Perkins and James Dallas Perkins.

He is survived by two children, Kimberly Stein (Ronald) of Overland Park, Kansas and Hope Richardson (Michael) of Williamsburg; granddaughter, Olivia Richardson; great granddaughter, Lauren Nallia; sister, Claudette Baird of Saxton; three brothers, Charles Wayne Perkins, Donald Blaine Perkins and Jerry Edward Perkins, all of Saxton; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at the Perkins Family Cemetery with Rev. Billy Carpenter officiating.
