Obituary for James Earl Douglas, Sr.

James Earl Douglas, Sr., age 42, of Rev. Gene Young Road, Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Friday, June 01, 2018 at his home. He was born July 31, 1975 in Jellico, Tennessee to the late Virgil Douglas, Sr. and Tina (Bryant) Douglas. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Virgil Douglas, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Carter Douglas of Williamsburg; eight children, Viola Carter, George Carter, Latosha Carter, Lela Douglas, Jamie Douglas, Desirae Carter, James Douglas, Jr., and Carlton Douglas, all of Williamsburg, Kentucky; fifteen grandchildren; four sisters, Carla Shelton, Relda Clouse, Rosa Cureton, and Minnie Partin, all of Williamsburg, Kentucky; two brothers, William Bryant and John Paul Douglas, both of Williamsburg, Kentucky; special daughter-in-law, Chelsey Lawson; special son-in-law’s, Daniel Taylor, James Fredrick, and Curly Adkins; and a host family and friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour Friday, June 8, 2018 at Croley Funeral Home.

The Funeral Service will be at 2:30 P.M. Friday, June 8, 2018 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel. Following the service he will be laid to rest in the Douglas Cemetery at Rock Creek.
