Ellen Geneva Bunch Perkins, formerly of the Mt. Ash-Buck Creek area of Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. She was 81 years, 11 months, and 7 days of age. She was born on January 11, 1931 in Whitley County, Kentucky to the late John Bunch and Louvernia Ballou Bunch. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Lee Perkins and a son, Jackie Lee Perkins. She was a member of the Mt. Ash Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Jimmy Ray Perkins (Barbara Ann) of Williamsburg, Kentucky; seven daughters, Wanda Faye Perkins of Scots Bluff, Nebraska, Linda Joyce Walden (Gary) of London, Kentucky, Treva Perkins of Olive Hurst, California, Ruth Leach (James) of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Retha Rojas (Robert) of Olive Hurst, California, Deborah Collett (Sherman) of Williamsburg, Kentucky and Mary Alice Durkins (Kenneth) of Kansas City, Missouri; 21 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; one sister, Marie Hardwick of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one brother, William Bennett of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Visitation will after 5:00 P.M. Thursday, December 20, 2012 at the Mt. Ash Baptist Church.

The Funeral Service will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 21, 2012 at the Mt. Ash Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Carpenter and Jimmy Perkins officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Hackler Cemetery at Mt. Ash.
