Alma Alder Early, formerly of Williamsburg, Kentucky passed away following a short hospital stay on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was 85 years, 5 months and 24 days of age. She was born on April 29, 1927 in Alva, Kentucky to the late John Alder and Juda (Buchannan) Alder. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Early. She worked for the State Highway Department, Roper Outdoor Products and served as City Clerk of Williamsburg.

She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn A. Schwemberger and her husband Bill of Cincinnati, Ohio and Sandy J. Davis and her husband Danny of Danville, Virginia; a grandson, Jordan N. Davis and his wife Melinda of Washington, DC; a great-granddaughter, Ella Paige Davis of Washington, DC; her sister, Emma Kate Alder of Cincinnati, Ohio; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Friday, November 2, 2012 at Croley Funeral Home.

Services will be private.

In Lieu of Flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Southeast Ohio, 7625 Comargo Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45243.
